Karma Drinks - Orange Juice
(Post theme: You Gotta Know by Supergroove)
Last time: Wests Ice Cream Soda, this time: Karma Drinks Orange Juice.
300ml glass bottle, which is always a nicer start than plastic or aluminium. Karma Drinks are pretty widely available - including supermarkets and cafés - although it’s less common to see the juices than the sodas.
This is a slightly better-than-average orange juice, but nothing magical. Good and cold from the fridge, it’s a perfectly pleasant drink, but there’s no single moment where it stands out.
Once again I find myself wondering why more juices don’t specify the variety of orange. Even if it’s a blend, surely it must be a consistent one - and saying “a blend of x, y, and z” would be no harder than the vague “orange” that ends up on the label. A single-origin juice seems like it would be genuinely appealing, particularly for a brand like Karma that leans into a story-driven, feel-good identity. It feels like a missed opportunity.
Overall: fine, but not memorable. 5.5/10.
