Last time: Foxton Fizz, Creaming Soda, this time: Picky Apple, Lemon, Mānuka Honey & Ginger.

800mL plastic bottle (sadly), from the chilled section at New World or Woolworths.

The ingredients give it away: this is meant to be healthy. It’s like a cold lemon-and-honey drink mixed with one of those wellness shots you get at hotel breakfasts, right down to the clear ginger aftertaste. The apple is just the base - it’s there to carry everything else, not to be tasted.

In a small volume it’s actually pretty good, and I’d happily take this over a hotel-breakfast wellness shot. At 800mL it’s far too much, though, even taken in small quantities many times over. I think I’m after taste more than I’m after feeling healthy.
