Last time: St Andrews Limes Passionade, this time: Karma Drinks Organic Lemmy Lemonade.

330mL can, bought at one of the supermarkets, although these are widely available - supermarkets, cafés, and direct from Karma if you want a dozen.

This is a lot like Lift, which is not a criticism: Lift is a perfectly good lemon drink and this sits comfortably in the same space. If anything the lemon here is slightly sharper, which I would prefer some days and not others. Cold from the fridge it does exactly what a lemonade should.

Enjoyable, then, but nothing special beyond the behind-the-scenes Karma stuff - the Fairtrade sourcing, the organic certification, the foundation work in Sierra Leone. That’s all genuinely nice to know, and it’s the reason I’d pick one of these over a generic can if the two were side by side, but it doesn’t change what’s in the can. As with the Razza, the story is the differentiator, not the taste.

A solid, unremarkable lemonade with a good backstory. 6.4/10.
