Last time: Barrier Buzz Raspberry Lemonade, this time: Lewis Road Creamery Lime Milkshake.

750ml plastic bottle, the same as the rest of the Lewis Road range (there’s a 300ml version too, but why would anyone buy that?).

As you’d expect from Lewis Road, it’s very good. What I didn’t expect is that this isn’t just a lime-flavoured milk (like Primo lime). The “milkshake” in the name actually means something, in the same way that the “cheesecake” in the Boysenberry Cheesecake does. With a lot of brands, those would just be extra words to fancy up the flavour, but not here.

The milkshake part comes from this being even creamier than a usual Lewis Road milk. It’s not quite the lime milkshake (or thickshake) you’d get from the local fish’n’chip shop, but it’s close, and there’s definitely an extra element that hints at ice cream or something similar.

So it’s honest, but I think I’d actually rather have one of those milkshakes (or even one I made myself) than this. 7.1/10.
