Last time: Homegrown Feijoa Smoothie, this time: Clean Collective Energy Pineapple.

330ml can, bought at New World. I imagine it’s at the other supermarkets too, and you can get it online.

I’m not really sure what category this falls into. It seems like a flavoured sparkling water, but it’s marketed like an energy drink (it has about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee), and it’s definitely not a soft drink. I’ve put it in with the energy drinks for now.

This hugely surprised me. I was expecting a soda water with a hint of pineapple and a bad aftertaste, and it’s so much better than that. The pineapple taste is very dominant, and it’s good, natural pineapple, not the fake lolly-style kind. There’s still a lack of sweetness, so you can tell this isn’t trying to be a soft drink, but there isn’t the bad aftertaste that puts me off soda waters.

I’d definitely have this again, although I’m not sure I’d seek it out. 7.6/10.
